Any Suggestion For Blood Vessels Behind Eyes Narrowing?
My ophthalmologist advised me that the blood vessels behind my eyes are narrowing. I do not have high blood pressure. My cholesterol has always been over 200 on the high side, however, my HDL, LDL and triglycerides are good. Should I see my primary care about this issue.
Hello It seems from the history that your ophthalmologist has advised that retinal vessels are narrowed. This is usually seen in case of hypertension resulting in hypertensive retinopathy. Since you are not having hypertension you require evaluation to rule out other causes like age related sclerosis of the vessels, obstructions of the retinal arteries... Hence I advice you to consult your doctor for examination and treatment accordingly.
Thank you
