Any Suggestion For Child Suffering From Swollen Forehead, Fever, Nausea, Sore Throat?

11 yr old son was hit on forehead it swolled immediately, er visit ct was negative, two days later has 102 fever nauseated and sore throat, lathargic and just lays in bed, should I take him back to er or keep him resting and give another dose of Tylenol?

Welcome to HCM,

As your son was hit against the hard surface he has developed that lump on his forehead. As CT scan report was negative it is a good sign.

Following this impact he may be having other symptoms and it will subside in 2-3 days.

I would suggest you to do following remedies
1.Hot pack over the bump on the forehead
2.Analgesic and Antipyretics like Paracetamol
3.Oral Antibiotics for 5 days
3.Salt water gargling.
These remedies will help your son to bring down the symptoms and he will feel better in few days.
