Any Suggestion For Constipation, Lots Of Mucus In Bowel Movement During Pregnancy?
I m 11 weeks pregnant, and I have been taking Zofran 4mg PO q6H PRN for 5 days which has resulted in constipation. I finally had a small BM this morning, but it had LOTS of mucous, what looked like fat globules, and another substance which looked like an old blood clot. I have never had hemorrhoids and don t have any now (that I m aware of). I took two docusate sodium pills last night. Other than that all I ve taken are children s vitamins and folic acid (I ve been too nauseous for regular prenatals). What should I do? Could this be serious?

I Understand your query vomiting in pregnancy is normal for vomiting you can take doxinate or pregnidoxin. But to avoid constipation do not use tablets , i suggest you must have green vegetables, fiber rich diet and plenty of fluids. folic acid is given routinely, for other medication before you use should concern doctor.
