Any Suggestion For Diabetic Suffering From Swollen Feet When On Tuberculosis Treatment?

My father who is 72, diabetic is suffering from tuberclosis and is taking treatment. He started taking medication from 20 jan'14. In the first month there was a prominent improvement in his cough and breathing, but then itching started with swelling and skin rash all over his body. Dr changed his medication saying that it was adrug reaction but its been more than15 days now and he still has swelling on his feet only. We have done all tests , his kidneys, liver evrythings is fine. Pl advise

I really appreciate your concern your father have got the diabetes then it is important to follow the rule of tight control of blood sugar because uncontrolled diabetes will not cure the itching problem this is could be the first possibility of itching and rash, so in my opinion pay attention towards his blood sugar level, meanwhile you can try "Tab Hydroxyzine 10 mg three times in day " hope this information helps you take care have nice day.
