Pulmonologist 's  Response
Thanks for your question on HCM.
I can understand your situation and problem.
In my opinion you should consult pulmonologist and get done
1. Chest x ray
2. PFT (pulmonary function test).
Many times clinical examination of respiratory system is normal but chest x ray and PFT are abnormal and indicative of disease.
Chest infection can cause breathing problem. So chest x ray is needed.
Bronchitis can cause breathing problem, so PFT is needed to rule out it.
If both are normal then you may have anxiety and related symptoms. So better to avoid stress and tension. Be relax and calm.
Don't worry, you will be alright.
