Hi,I am Dr. Alexander H. Sheppe (Psychiatrist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
hi , i am naveen from chandigarh, India. I got married feb,2012.My wife is not getting hungry , if we ask the reason she just say dont know n skip the food. This is happening from few years .Kindly suggest the good syrups where she can have a good diet. Thanks.
Thanks for contacting HCM. Dear Naveen you have not mentioned whether you wife is losing weight or not. If she is loosing weight then she needs to be investigated for various disorders like liver, kidney, diabetes, gastrits, hypothyroidism etc so as to find out the cause of her lack of appetite. But if her weight is normal then there is no need to worry as she is probably habitual of snacking and is so unable to eat at meal times. Also for newly married girls this could be a psychological problem due to lack of adjustment to new environment and memories of her parents homes, in that case only love and care from you and your family can help her overcome her discomfort. Regards
