Any Suggestion For Skin Under Eyes Is Red, Raised After Phenol Peel?

I had a deep phenol peel done around my eyes 8 weeks ago. The skin under my eyes is still red and I have one raised line under my left eye and a smaller one under the right eye. What's worse, however, is the texture of the skin under both eyes is very bumpy extending completely under both eye from one end to the other. I have been looking on line for an answer to what this is and it seems with all I read that these most closely resemble syringomas. I have not read anywhere however, that a phenol peel can cause this. As a matter of fact, I've read that chemical peels are used to help this. My skin was perfectly smooth before the peel with only fine lines. Can you tell me what you think this could be. Am I wrong about it be syringomas? Will this improve over time? My derm who performed the peel just keeps telling me it will resolve. Syringomas don't resolve by themselves. This is making me so depressed. It wasn't worth spending $3,000 to remove lines and replace it with scars and a skin condition.

Hi,
Syringomas look like small skin colored bumps around the eyes. Syringomas are not seen after peels, however similar lesions called milia might be seen. But your description of lines underneath eyes doesn't match with these two. Post peel redness and any elevation should definitely be managed. We usually prescribe mild steroids for same. Please meet your treating doctor. Also you may use ask a specialist feature of this website to upload pics and have a detailed discussion.
Take care
