Any Suggestion To Control Blood Sugar Level When Having Type 2 Diabetes?

I have type 2 dibties...my blood sugar has been in the 300 yesterday and today I checked it about 3 hours after lunch and it was 410. I take metformin HCL1000mg 2x a day and glimpiride 4 mg 2x a day. I can t see my doctor until Tuesday and today is Sunday. What do I need to do?

Dear sir

It clearly indicates that you are having insulinopenia. which means your circulating insulin levels are very low,

In cases like this increasing the dosages of glimiperide and metformin will not improve the control in blood sugars.

Secondly it is indicated to add a basal insulin like NPH or Glargine at the bed time as earliest as possible because it will decrease the glucotoxicity.
