Any Suggestions For Pain Below The Left Shoulder Blade And Upper Left Abdomen, Reduced Appetite, Nausea?
I ve been really sick. Experiencing pain below my left shoulder blade, left side and upper left abdomen. This has been going on a while but now I m getting much worse. I get full fast, cannot eat like I used to, have nausea often, have passed out once, have dropped one or two pant sizes, always tired. Help.
Hello and welcome to Healthcare Magic. Thanks for your query.
I understand that you must be going through a difficult time. The symptoms of upper abdominal pain, reduced appetite and nausea could be suggestive of an acid peptic disease / stomach ulcers. However, other possibilities like a gall bladder disease should be ruled out. It is very difficult to make a firm prediction about the cause with the limited information that you have provided.
Also, the loss of weight and the episode of passing out seem to to be worrying, and hence, I would advise you to see your local doctor for a detailed evaluation. Further treatment would depend on the problem detected.
Wish you a speedy recovery.
Regards, Dr. Jonas Sundarakumar
