Anything To Worry If Bleeding Bright Red After A Rough Sex ?

hello.. I have a friend and she has been bleedin brite red after her and her bf have sex(which she said it is rough sex) she is 37 and has like 4 kids and has had a tubial. she is scared and ask me. im not sure wat to tell her. I have been lookin on here and there are so many thangs it could b. should she go to her doc. plz help

The common causes of bleeding after sex are trauma to the genital organs and problems of the cervix like infections, tumors or very rarely cancer.

If she is suspecting trauma to be the cause of the bleed, than repeated trauma may lead to infection and cause problems like fibrosis and narrowing of the vagina. So please council her about these possible effects. Also I suggest that a gynec examination by a trained doctor is very important to rule out other causes. Please discuss all these issues with her treating doctor as only then he be able to help her at their best. Remember that we are all there to help you.

There is no need to be scared, a gynec examination will help determine the cause and then it will be possible to get proper treatment.
