Applied Ayrtons Chilblain Ointment On Toe. Face Red, Swollen After Applying Moisturizer With Same Hands. Remedy?

I put on Ayrtons chilblain ointment on my toe with a surgical glove treating chilblain and accidentally without thinking took my glove off without washing my hands a little later went to put moisturizer on my face. A little later my face is red and swollen. What can I do please, as it is a very stupid thing I did and I am very cautious at all time.

Hello,
Thanks for the query

You have developed an allergic reaction,

Apply a mild steroid lotion like desonide,

Also take an antihistamine tablet.

This will give you some relief.

Please meet a dermatologist for exact diagnosis.

Treatment with oral steroids may be required.

Let me know if you have any other doubt.

you can ask a direct question to me on this forum, following the below link.
