Applied Trimacinolone To Rash On Back. Red, Blotchy, Itching. What Should I Do?

I went to the doctor for poison ivy last Friday. She gave me Triamcinolone and it cleared up the rash on my arms. I also thought I had it on my lower back but the ointment didn't work there. Now as I look at it the rash it doesn't fit the description of poison ivy. It's a red, blotchy spot that itches and won't go away. What do I have there? Should I see my doctor as I have had the rash for 5 days and it's not clearing up.

1. could be Incubation period of some virus? consult with your healthcare provider regarding the same. (rash turning into cellulitis?)
2. in the mean time cool compresses and oatmeal bath will minimize the symptoms.
