Hi dear, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. Ascard is aspirin which is given to increase the blood supply to the fetus, while glucophage is metformin which is a oral hypoglycemic drug.
Since your baby was good sized, chances of gestational diabetes are high, and hence your doctor has started glucophage prophylactically.
However, the reason to start aspirin.
Both the drugs are safe in pregnancy.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
