Are Calcium Blockers Advisable For Frequent Migraines?

I get frequent migraines and am taking maxalt. I have tried nortriptylene and other pills for preventative care. I really don t like the way antidepressants make me feel. Dr recommended beta blockers but my blood pressure is 90 over 60 so I didn t think that was a good idea. Then he went on to suggest calcium blockers. He indicated that I must try these before he can look at other preventative mess. I feel stuck
