Are Cefixime And Oflox The Right Medication For Typhoid In Children?

My daughter is 20 months old. She is having fever from 6 days now. Test report says its typhiod borderline. Doc has given cefixime, oflox 100 and carpol. In addition to that he has given mephanorm in case she has fever after giving carpol. Her fever is still fluctuating.. Sometimes she has no fever and suddenly she will have fever again. I m very much worried. Please guide me.

If she has been diagnosed with typhoid fever and fever is persisting despite Cefixime and Oflox, then you should get her admitted for inject-able antibiotic support. Please visit emergency immediately.
