Are Depron, Olimelt, Lopez And Bexol The Right Treatment For Depression?
Hi sir , My father (age 53)is undergoing some kind of depression from last 20 days .He is forgetting things very rapidly not recognising most of the relatives and he lost his self confidence .We are giving him medical cure from a Neuropsychiatrist and he has prescribed some medicines .Its been two days we are giving him the medicine but the results are worse .

I can understand your concern. He has developed symptoms since last 20 days and is showing abnormal behaviour. The medicines he is taking are Domperidone 10, Olanzapine 5, Bexol 2, Propranolol 20, Lorazepam 1 etc. Considering his symptoms like forgetting things, depressive mood, loss of confidence etc these medicines are right medicine. Olanzapine is safe to use medicine and is free of serious side effects. For severe memory problems medicines like Donepezil, Memantin can help. You can consult his doctor again for reevaluation and treatment. Till then continue to give her medicines as advised.
