Are Femilon Tablets Safe For Women With Irregular Periods And Polycystic Ovaries?

Hi..am 21years old and unmarried...i dint get proper bleeding during periods and last month i missed my periods and i got a scan which showed polycystic ovaries..docter advised me for meprate tablets for five days to get periods and now after periods she hv advised me for femilon...i want to know that is it good for health or any side effects...

Hello welcome to HCM. These cysts may decrease the disturb the menustual cycle. So take those tablets which contains hormone . These hormones support the cycle and supresses the cyst. It should be taken for few months with a gap between each month. Once the cysts resolved which can be confirmed again by scan, there will be more chances of regular period with less bleeding.
