Are Fertisure And Gestofit Advisable For A Woman With Irregular Periods?

Hi Doctor, My wife is 30 and I am 32. My wife has hormonal imbalance, thyroid problems (though it s normal with medication) and irregular periods. Our son is almost 20 months now. Before having our first child we struggled a lot with my wife s infertility and she gave birth after 3 years of our marriage after using medicines like Fertisure F, Siphene, Gestofit SR, Rezumet Sr etc. Now we want another baby should she continue the same medicines as her condition is similar to what it was before having our first child like irregular periods and unable to conceive without medicines. Hi,

Fertisure is a nutritional supplement helping general health, conception & preventing some major health problem. Gestofit is a plant preparation providing effect like female hormone Progesterone that helps protection & growth of fetus after conception. So both the drugs would definitely facilitate conception.

But in my view she needs thyroid function test & ovulation study to find exact cause of delayed conception. Even your investigations like semen analysis would confirm absence of male factor abnormality as a cause. Above investigations along with needful supplementation of specific hormones asking with the drugs she is already consuming will enhance conception. Please consult an Endocrinologist.
