Are Hucog 5000 And Koragon Hp 5000 The Same?

Is Hocog 5000 and koragon hp 5000 is same/? I am pregnent and after spnography doctor got no heartbeat in my baby. My last period date was 16/02/2015. Doctor prescribed me hocog 5000 my husband dont get that and bring koragon. I want to know that whether both r same? And after taking this injection is there any possibility to get heartbeat of my.baby N I m pregnant of 8 week

Hi,

Hucog and Koragon are the same things. This drug helps to increase the growth of egg in ovary as well as proper maintenance and growth of pregnancy in the uterus. However, this drug can not get the heart beat of a fetus in whom it is not present.

Normally, at 8 weeks, the heart beat should be clearly audible on sonography. The only reason, it is not perceived normally is because, there may be miscalculation of the duration of pregnancy. Even the maturity of the fetus should be properly evaluated by a sonogram and hence negating the chance of miscalculation.
