Are Lanol-ER, Cetron And Mucolite Syrup Safe During Pregnancy?

I m 9 weeks pregnant . Suffering from high fever and cold and cough. My gynic has prescribed me tab Azitral for 3 days each. Tab Lanol er as SoS . Tab cetron for 5 days each and syrup mucolite for thrice in a day for 5 days . I m worried . Will these effect my baby anyhow

Am so sorry that you are going through this. I completely understand your anxiety and concerns.

All these medications are safe to consume during pregnancy.
Yes it is better to avoid medications on the whole but given that you have a bad infection, it is better to take the medications.

Do not, however, self medicate at a later point of time (even if it is the same medications) . Always consult your doctor before taking any medications, even paracetamol.
