General & Family Physician, Dr. Priyanka's Response
Hi,
Lumia 60K and Uprise-D3 1K are not the same medications. Lumia 60K is a brand of vitamin D3 supplement that contains 60,000 international units (IU) of vitamin D3 per tablet, while Uprise-D3 1K contains only 1,000 IU of vitamin D3 per tablet.
If your doctor specifically prescribed Lumia 60K for you, it is important to follow their instructions and take the correct dosage as prescribed. It would be best to double-check with the pharmacist to ensure you have the correct medication. If there has been a mistake, they should be able to correct it for you.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Priyanka, General & Family Physician
