Are Lupikrill And Xtor 5 Right Medication For Deranged Lipid Profile?
27Apr15 lipid profile test normal but SGPT 51.3. 25May15 lipid profile level hdl 29.2, LDP 128.8, Sgpt 69.5. Medication xtor5 for last 3 yrs. From 10 days on udiliv 150. Have to go for seafarers medical test / examination by end of this week. GP has now prescribed lupikrill 500, Xtor5, reheptin once a day. Hepamerz & udiliv300 twice a day. Please advice if prescription is correct to get level to normal, no other health issues
Your prescription seems okay except that I will like to omit Hepamerz from your prescription. Reason being L-ornithine and L-aspartate which are main constituents of Herpamerz, are also present in Reheptin and hence, duplication of constituents may be avoided.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Satnarain Bansal, General & Family Physician
