Are MS Drugs Black Box Warning?

Are MS drugs black box warning? My PA wants to give me a form of speed due to my exhaustion. The downside, I do not need to lose weight but am having an energy crisis. The longer the day goes on, the more tired I get. Trying to take the safest drugs possible.

Hello,

Unfortunately, each drug carries its own side effects. The same as for MS drugs, which are more specific, and do still have a negative impact on our body.

However, before starting any medication, we do go further with analysis to determine if the outcome of the benefit of the side effects.
If yes, then, we do prescribe them, while asking patients to be an observatory, and report every new symptom they might experience along with the treatment.

Adding vitamins and Magnesium can help ease the symptoms of feeling tired. Plus, check blood count to rule out anemia and/or treat it adequately. Discuss this further with your caring doctor.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Albana Sejdini, General & Family Physician
