Are R Cinex, Surbex And Combutol The Right Medication For TB?
My father is suffering from tb and doc hai started r cinex 600 surbex 2000 mg combutol 1800 mg daily but after starting this course he gets very week n now he is not taking much food n cough is also there vomiting is also something he is facing these days kindly suggest will it is advisable to continue with this treatment as all the blood reports are norman fever is also not there now .
Dear patient Your father are taking correct medication for tuberculosis. All drugs you mentioned are essential for treatment of tuberculosis. They side effects of gastritis and vomiting so do not stop them if you get vomiting as side effects will decrease with time. Duration of treatment is 6 months minimum so Take complete treatment. If you stop treatment before 6 months bacteria become drug resistant and you will require onother drugs which have more side effects , costly and less effective. Monthly follow up with treating physician and blood test is also must. All the best.
