Are STD's Related With Hives And Joint Pain?

Hi Doc, im 30 yea comes and goes, 30 yrs old and my problems are skin rash like hives, fever, joint pains and diarrhoea. Two months back i was infected an std which i believe it's either gonorrhea or clamydia. I was on many antibiotics for a month. I feel the gonorrhea and clamydia are gone but the body ailments are still there. I have been reading a lot about std in the net and all it comes to my mind is hiv which is really worrying me at the moment, So dear doc, i would like to know from you more about other std which resembles symptoms of hiv. thank you!

Welcome to HCM.
STDs are more than 25 in number caused by different types micro-organisms with different types of manifestations with different types of treatment. HIV is also a STD as 85% of this disease acquired through sexual contact. Hives can occur due various reasons like food allergy, drug allergy, dust allergy, insect bite allergy phyto-allergy and photo allergy and due to the presence intestinal worms or due to presence of any infection including STD etc. Joint pain can occur with STD conditions like Syphilis, Gonorrhea, HIV and Reiter's disease etc. A thorough history and examination and investigation can fix the cause for your problem.
