Are Sarsaparilla Supplements Effective For Lyme Disease?

Hi I am 83 yrs old have been diagnosed with Lymes Disease in June . completed 21 days on antibiotic Have just completed 2 more weeks antibiotic . Suffer from side affects as flu like simptoms. Have been advised a supplement Sarsaparilla should help with symptoms?
