Are Sodium Bicarbonate, Amlodipine And Hydralazine Safe For A Kidney Failure Person?
Husband is in stage 4 kidney failure. He s had high BP since age 8. he went from a stage 2 to stage 4, about a month ago. since then, they can t get his BP or potassium levels within a healthy range. current numbers are running 170/100 and potassium from a 4.0 to 5.5. Creatin levels are running 4.3. he is taking 75 mg of hydralazine 3x day and 5 mg of amlodipine daily, for the bp. Plus sodium bocarbonate 650 mg daily for ? I m concerned about a stroke and/or heart attack. Other symptoms are migraine headaches, fatigue, vision issues, lack of appitite... Thoughts? YYYY@YYYY
