Are Trichotin Tablets Safe To Be Taken While Breastfeeding?

Hi I am a breastfeeding mother of a 16 months old baby and I have a problem of losing hairline and now it s worse. I was advised to use trichotin thablets. I want to know it they are safe for the baby I am breastfeeding and if not when is the right time for me to start using. If I sue them now, how will they affect my baby. The second question is do they cause weight gain?

Hair loss can be unsettling. The ingredients of Trichotin are natural and do not seem harmful. If used topically, it would have minimal absorption into the blood and into breast milk. It most likely would be safe but it is not a guarantee either. Since this is not a FDA approved medication, no one is regulating the quality of the product (besides the company making it).

So what is in it, may not be what they say is in it. For example, the FDA has found many weight loss supplements containing amphetamine. It would be up to you if you are comfortable with the risk. Trichotin should not cause weight gain from what is can see in the ingredients. I would not recommend their DHT inhibit or products as this can change hormones and would not be good for a developing baby.
