Are Zatofen And Panadol Safe Medicines For A Toddler?

My child is 24 months old. He was fine till yesterday afternoon when he slept but woke up with 100 fever with no other symptoms. I gave him 5ml of Panadol which just reduced the fever but it didn t go away. I again gave the same in morning and results were same. Then i checked the packet directions of usage and this afternoon i gave 7ml Panadol which is according to his weight and thankfully the fever subsided but it came back after 4 hours which was 102. I consulted my sons peads doc and he prescribed zatofen and panadol with an antibiotic. I haven t started the antibiotic because i think its too early to jump on this but im also worried about zatofen. Is it a right medicine in some viral or may be a heat stroke?
