Are Air Filteration Machines Advisable For People With COPD?
Are air filtering machines bad for people with COPD? I live in apartment with smokers in all the apartments around me and want to cut WAAAAAY back on second hand smoke, as I quit smoking and do not want the irony of dying from other folks fumes. Thank you

General & Family Physician, Dr. Prakruthi's Response
Hi yes you can use air filters if you have COPD. Totally agree with you on second hand smoke and it's wonderful that you quit smoking. Go ahead and get one. Move to a different apartment too if u can. Take care :)
