Hi,

I am sorry for the situation your daughter is in.

From what you are describing, fever and runny nose are indicative for possible common cold. As she is only 6 months old, I advise to use only paracetamol syrup. If the fever won't go down, then, can use ibuprofen alternatively.

Next, keep her nose well open. Aerosol-therapy can also help.

Check for her ears. It is common for infants to get ear infection as complication of cold. Ear drops can be used in such case.

Keep her well hydrated. If you breastfeed, try to breastfeed as much as you can. Water with ORS can also help.

If no improvement, should send to pediatrician for further evaluation and specific treatment.

Wish fast recovery!
