Are Anti-psychotic Drugs Advisable For A Person With Delusions?

my son has been using street drugs like weed lsd mashrooms etc. he was having delutions paranoid thoughts and also negetive symptoms like lack of concentration motivation pleausure and social isolation . when he stopped using drugs the dellutions stopped. he still has all the negitive symptoms. should he take anti psychotics. doctor gave him olanzipan 5mg. my son does not want to take these because of the side effects.

I really appreciate your concern, if this is a matter of de-addiction then it is better to take him to the psychiatrist and there he would be given counselling and drug too for de-addiction without psychiatrist drug can not be given to him hope this information helps.
