Are Audible Pulses While Breathing A Sign Of Heart Failure?
Hi, I am a slightly overweight, unfit 37 year old male, and for the last year or more have been noticing that as I breathe out my heartbeat pushes air out in pulses. If I hum the pulses are very audible. This has been getting more noticeable over time. I m concerned I may have heart failure or an aortic aneurysm or something similar putting pressure on my lungs, transmitting my heartbeat to my breath. I have been alcoholic for years (drink 4-7 evenings a week, 8-10 drinks an evening, sometimes more), and have high blood pressure (140/90, sometimes 150/100). Thanks for your time

Are Audible Pulses While Breathing A Sign Of Heart Failure?
Hi, Welcome to Healthcaremagic.com. I had gone through your question I can understand your concern. There are many reasons behind the audible heart sounds, most important one is mitral valve regurgitation and ever other valves too. These are also the dangerous or serious heart problems but curable if you will take proper treatment at early stage. Due to stress or strenuous exercise you can also feel heart sounds. Hope my answer will help you and you can visit us back if you have any further questions to be answered. Regards Dr Muzaffer Hussain Parray.
