Hello, I ve been having sex with my girlfriend for a while now and about two weeks after we first started having sex I noticed two seperate bunches of what looks to me like blisters on the shaft of my penis. They are very light pink with no irritation or pain or anything except a littl bit of itch when I rub it or something but I can t feel it throughout the day. It does look like cauliflower a little but they are beginning to scab over like a blister so maybe perhaps they are just some type of frictional blisters? My girlfriend shows no symptoms. We have unprotected sex as she is on birth control. I also masturbate sometimes rigorously enough to cause a lesion. I had sex with a different girl unprotected about three weeks prior to my girlfriend and I s first encounter. Is this an std or is it just a blister? They do not look at all pussy or bloody. I ve had these for two weeks.Thank you.

General & Family Physician, Dr. Amarnath's Response
welcome to hcm, mostly it is a genital wart. With the history of blisters in the penile shaft after unprotected sex with two partners, i cannot come to a conclusion without seeing and physically examining the blisters. but the genital warts are more common and it is sexually transmitted. it is caused by human papilloma virus, which likes to live in warm parts of the body. genital warts are easily transmitted through sexual route, and oral. do not have sex with your partner until you are completely cured. start your treatment with consultation of your physician hope this explains with regards Dr.Amarnath
