Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
Detailed evaluation is needed as partially treated tuberculosis can cause recurrence and more serious complications like cavities and aspergilloma. As of now do a sputum acid fast test to check whether you have active tuberculosis or not. Also do a HRCT chest to look for any cavities or aspergilloma in the lung. TB medicines required only if sputum is positive for tuberculosis. If the symptoms persist or in case sputum positive for TB, you have to consult a pulmonologist and get evaluated.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain
