Are Bone Spurs The Cause For Pain On Either Side Of The Hip?

I am having muscle spasms and pain in both sides. The urologist has ruled out kidney stones. Just had an xray and ct scan. My spine is covered in spurs,,would that cause all this pain in my sides, Moving the wrong way, coughing, walking, getting up and down makes it worse. :(
