Are Brown Stringy Pieces In Stools Of A Child Normal?

My son just pooped with brown stringy pieces that were in his stool is this normal? He is very athletic & just finished a hard lacrosse game. he says he s been noticing this for the last several weeks but is in NO pain and not constipated? It looks like brown string or body tissue?

Hi
This could be indicating a parasitic bowel infection so I suggest he see a doctor for an exam and a stool sample sent to the lab for microscopic examination and cultures
