Are Calpol And Taxim Correct Medication For Cough And Fever?

I AM HAVING A COLD AND COUGH ACCOMPANIED BY FEVER FOR THE PAST 5 DAYS. I HAVE ALREADY TAKEN 10 CALPOL 500 AND 7 TAXIM O 200, BUT THE FEVER KEEPS COMING BACK. THE TEMPERATURE USUALLY RISES AS HIGH AS 101 DEGREE BUT COMES DOWM WITH CALPOL TO LESS THAN 98 DEGREE AND AGAIN RISES AFTER 7 OR 8 HOURS. IS MY TREATMENT WRONG?

Hi,
Your treatment is correct.
Infection takes some time to clear and so now within a day or two you will feel relief from fever as antibiotic will start working.
Avoid cold drinks, fried and junk food.
Ok and take care.
