Are Colorless Itchy Bumps On Arms And Face Due To Sunburn Or Soap?

I was in the sun all day yesterday . And got a little sunburned . I then got a shower with a different soap I usually use . I know have colorless itchy bumps all over my arms and a couple on my legs . My face itchs too but there are no bumps. Is this cause by the soap (my skin is very sensitive to soaps and lotions) or is it the sun burn ?

Dermatologist 's  Response
Hello, sun burn presents as acute onset erythema with blistering depending on the severity and doesnot involve the covered areas..The symptoms which you mentioned seems as allergic contact dermatitis to some agent applied topically which can be your new soap.
I would adv you to use bland soap like cetaphil moisturizing bar, take tab Cetrizine 10 mg at bedtime for 3 days, and apply a mild steroid like desonide lotion daily over the lesions for 3 days
I hope the condition will resolve by then
Thanks
Take care
