Are Contraceptive Pills Effective For Early Periods?

Ok here s the deal me and my wife are separated and she had to go to her female doctor because in September she had two periods but I do know when we were together she had to go to doctor because she would get cramps in her side when she ovulates her doctor told her it was cyst on her ovary s so her doctor put her on the pill because she said it would it would only get worse if she wasn t on it so I m just wondering if it makes any since to be put in the pill at 36 years old or if could be lying

it can be given for regularization of cycle Asin her case . It's also given for ovarian cyst by some practioners
