Are Contractions 8 Mins Apart, Back Pain With 3 Cm Dilation Real Or False Labor Pains ?

Hi, this is my first pregnancy and im 36 weeks pregnant and 3cm dialated , I ve been having contractions that are 8 mins apart, sharp period cramps and back pain sharp pain inside my vagina, i felt inside my vagina and i could feel the babys head through the sac. i went to the hospital, they told me i was to happy and wasn t in enough pain to be in labour and sent me home, could this be real labour or false?

Braxton Hicks contractions are false labour pains that occur in the last six weeks of pregnancy.if you have contractions at regular and increasingly shorter intervals, and it is becoming longer and stronger in intensity as time goes,then high probability of labor pain
You will have a bloody show like passing passing mucus plug that blocks the cervix
water will leak
cervix will be progressively dilate upto 10 cm
so if you have any doubt then consult a good gynecologist
take care
