Are Cramps & Chillness Common With Miscarriage?

I had an ultrasound with no heartbeat and decided to wait and miscarry myself. I'm in day 5 of miscarrying and I ran a fever of 99.6 last night. I normally have low body temp 96.8 to 97. This morning I have chills and instead of cramps I have an achy sore feeling. Should I contact my doctor?
