Are Cyst On Ovary And Fibroid A Cause For Concern?

I m 47 years old and had heavy bleeding, so I went to see family doctor and then had ultrasound and pelvic exam. Over the phone the receptionist said I have a cyst on my right overy and a fibroid. I have known about the fibroid for over 13 years. I am taking progesterone to stop bleeding. Should I be worried?

Hi, I think if you are having heavy bleeding, you can take some medicines for stopping the bleeding. If it is not controlled by medicines, you need to go for hysterectomy. Discuss with your doctor regarding this. Hope I have answered your question.
