Hi, I ve had a surgery under my left arm because a lump was found. I also have extra breast tissue in this same arm. This was back in 2007 and they said it wasn t cancerous. At the time I was 24. I m now 31 and have been to have mammograms maybe 3 times since. Each time they find a lump and I m sent in for more testing. The mammograms are done several times along with ultrasounds of my left breast and finally they say it s nothing serious or it s just cysts. A week ago I went for the same thing and was told it s a cyst in my left breast. This time was the longest and most tests ran ever. My issue however is that for two weeks now I ve been having very sharp pains that stop me in my tracks and causes me to grab my breast because the pain is so intense. My question is are cysts normally this painful? And what do you suggest I do as far as seeing a doctor? Should I get a second opinion?
