Are Diarrhea And Itchy Skin Rashes Symptoms Of Food Allergy?

I had eaten seafood on Saturday night. Sunday night I had stomach pain and severe diarrhea. By Monday noon, the diarrhea stopped. Now my body ism suffering skin rash with itches everywhere. Can you advise if this is food allergy? I love sea food and eats it so often in the past, but no problem. By the way, my two other family members ate the same seafood, they all had severe diarrhea.

You and your both partners have history of diarrhea after eating sea food so suggest towards food poisoning....

You might given empirical ciprofloxacin and metronidazole combination drug for that...

Maintain hydration and take ORS also with water frequently for electrolytes balances...

Avoid heavy fried meal and small meal taken with frequent interval..

If you are not improving than work up needed with....
-USG
-Stool examination
-Stool culture
-CBC etc..

Than accordingly treatment given....
