Are Dizziness, Headaches And Nausea Post A Hit On Head The Symptoms Of Concussion?

Hi, I have recently hit my head on the floor. I have gone to get a CT scan and was told there is no bleeding in my brain. For about two weeks now, i have been experiencing concussion sympthoms such as: dizziness, headaches, feeling like im dazed, a little nauseua and eyes feeling tired. Is what I am feeling part of the concussion sympthoms?

Hi Dear ,

As per your query you have dizziness, headaches and nausea post a hit on head . Well the symptoms you mention in query can occur due to may reasons like conditions related to ear ( meniere's disease ) or concussion . A concussion is a traumatic brain injury that alters the way your brain functions. I would suggest you to consult neurologist for proper evaluation of the condition . Doctor may take history , order balancing test and again order imaging test like CT scan and MRI . Doctor may recommend that you physically and mentally rest to recover from a concussion , for headaches take pain reliever such as acetaminophen (Tylenol ) and avoid asprin or ibuprofen and doctor may also recommend surgery .
