General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

As per my clinical experience, the benign vertigo does present with headache, nausea as a prodrome symptom, spinning sensation; but usually hot flashes are not counterpart associated. There can be underlying hormone imbalance causing such symptoms. The blood sugar profile is a routine investigation included in vertigo evaluation as many of the diabetics or pre diabetics do present with hypo or hyperglycemia states simply with vertigo.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
