Are Dizzy Spells And Shortness Of Breath Related To The Ears?

Hi my name is Adam and I have been feeling dizzy and short of breathe for a couple months. Just wondering if it could be my ears? I have been to the hospital 3 times and all the tests have been normal. I have had a stress test done and blood work, ECG done. Everything has been normal.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Dizziness does commonly occur with ear diseases however the shortness of breath may not be explained by ear diseases.

If the cardiac, and respiratory tests are normal, this is great. This may be related to anxiety.

However, if you understand that you do not have any anxiety, a complete metabolic panel is needed, I would also suggest getting a complete neurological examination.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
