General & Family Physician 's  Response
Dry lips are caused by a number of factors such as dehydration, lack of humidity in environment, excessive seating, malnutrition, habitual licking and excessive exposure to sunlight.
Advice
1.     Capsule Becosule – Z – one capsule daily for 3 months
2.     Use over the counter lip moisturizer such as lip guard or Boroplus every 8 hours
3.     Take high protein diet such as eggs, meat, cheese, and pulses
4.     Drink 4 – 5 liters of water daily
5.     Avoid excessive exposure to sunlight
6.     Use umbrella of hat whilst in sunlight
7.     Hot water evaporation to your lips three times daily
Thanks
