Are Dry, Rough Patches Of Skin Around Mouth Side Effects Of Ginet-84?

Hi, I am 16 and was prescribed Ginet-84 (oral contraceptive) by my doctor to help clear up my skin. However I have found that while I am taking the active tablets, I get dry, rough patches of skin around my mouth that clear up when I take the placebo tablets. Should I stop taking them?
